How to change the isolation during the pandemic into an inspiring and challenging recording. We recorded Andrew Fords piece the River in sections. The premiere took place with all of us in Sweden the year before. This time Sareidah Hildebrand, Joakim Lundström and Mattias Rodrick recorded their parts in a cottage in Stockholm. Karin Lovelius followed and added vocals from her kitchen in Berlin and Suranjana Ghosh added her tabla part from Calcutta. Bettina Ostermeier helped us put it all together in the and and the composer Andrew Ford told us more about his piece from his Garden in New South Wales, Australia.
